Nice To Meet You

The right write to make a good read is so objective and more these days. Who wants to waste time when there’s so little of it to spare especially for those of us who are almost mid life or past it or at least what we perceive it to be. My name is Amanda and now that I feel more lived in I thought writing to women alike might be a small contribution to making you smile or just enlightened.

My attraction to strong women has been from a childhood romance. Women who just made a statement no matter how loud or subtle always had my attention. The more I was growing and I can’t decide whether it’s growing up, growing older or just having a chance at life I realised that this attraction was my need to be heard. Whether it was to be heard by my family, my husband my community or just people who cared. Maybe it’s because I felt like I had and have something worth sharing.

So in writing this blog, writing to you, I hope to give myself a voice, and in reading I hope you listen to yours.
